Getting a new box out of sky?

    My sky+ box is basically fricked, have it about 3 months I have had to format it 3 times, its saying i have ran out of disk space while recording stuff even though there is 50% space free. And now tis freezing while I am recording programmes, and wjhen I plug the box out at the wall it had stayed in permanent standby and has only come back on because I formatted it again............... so what is the handiest way to get another box out of sky?

    Did you get it new by joining sky 3 months ago? If so it would be under warrenty, not to mention it is technically still their property.

    No, I upgraded to multiroom and and got the sky+ put upstairs!

    Ring Sky, ask for a new Sky+ box for free (you may just get a refurb), or threaten to cancel if it comes to it. Seems to work for some.
