    What he did was illegal. The transaction took place in Irerland so may be subject to Irish Law. If it was me I'd have the cops notified and have him arrested AFTER he had refunded you !

    Moral of the story: do a hpi check everytime.


    Oh and in before lock (in the event its locked for the same reason as it was in comsumer issues)

    I agree. Anyone who doesn't spend a few £ to get a HPI report done is a mug.
