Making one mega thread for Christmas/New Year/whatever sales as there will be probably quite a few, so post your requests and location of sales should you come across any. Thanks.

Well.... Woodies are having a 20% off xmas decorations, lights, etc. sale here.

    Delivery is very reasonable:
The delivery charges for all online purchases are as follows:
    Delivery charge nationwide is €6.35.
Free delivery will be provided on all Orders in excess of €300.
The only exception to this is where you purchase Gift Vouchers. In this case we will post your order free of charge.

I went up last Saturday. We stopped off first in Sainsburys and bought spirits and beer at some crazy prices. - they're doing a mix n match special on ltr bottles of spirits 2 for £20 which is a steal cos the rate of exchange is .71 !!, Gin, Smirnoff, Cointreau and Bell's whiskey were some of them. They're also doing a special on some beers 2 for £14. We got 2 boxes of Carlsberg - 36 cans for £14 !!

After Sainsbury's we headed up to the Outlet, which was a bit disappointing. Its like the Kildare Village on a larger scale, but still got some nice stuff in the Timberland shop and I love the GAP hoddies, so I stocked up there.

It's well worth the trip to Newry now because the exchange rate is so good. As ive already dipped into my stock of drink, i might take another trip up soon.

Newry used to be great for general groceries, but I've been up to the Quays and the Buttercrane a few times recently and you'd be hard pushed to find bargains.

It's good if you're looking for cheap deals on Wines & Spirits, but that's about it these days.

Try and go on a Saturday as the high street is also open. On Sundays only the two big shopping centres open and the place is dead otherwise.

Check out Boots etc for some good deals/bits and bobs for christmas prezzis (buy 2 get a third item free being particularily handy!!). Some great deals on Food & Alcohol but i found clothes to be the same if not more expensive than down here.

Newry is great for the cheap drink (esp in sainsburys) and usual shopping but there isnt any much other great deals (like clothes) cos its pretty much the same as in the republic, the outlet is ok but not great.
