Will you accept a 50 / 50 split if I get headsup with a 8:1 chip advantage? Would be hugely +EV on the basis of Saturday's drubbing. :(

    You mean 110% :p

Last longer sounds good to me. The big difference between this JP game and all the others you're used to playing is that there will be no beer available

I know you love your pints with your poker, which is why we never see you in the casinos (you try to hide its true but i think 4 pints at the break in the last monthly game you played proves my point!;))

Yourself and the rest of the hee-haws cant function without beers so this last longest should be like taking candy from a baby!!!

does anyone know if there is 24hour parking in Childrens hospital in Crumlin?
It's just I think there will be no parking if it's bingo night,

I don't mind paying a bit for the parking etc.,

    Hi Colette,

I just rang the hospital and they do have 24hr Secure car parking. If i remember correctly from speaking to Nick the other day the bingo hall has a big game on this Friday aswell. I think it starts at 6pm so i would guess the car park will be full at 8pm.

The Hospital might be any idea for anyone driving.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,079 ✭✭✭smurph

I think I'll go for the hospital, I don't want to get into a row with the Bingo going crowd for parking, there'll only be one winner there, sigh

Good game JP and a nice place you have there. Pity i didnt stay around long enough to sample the atmosphere at the end..QQ no good v AK.

looks like John Weafer won the last longest we had so you can add €260 to his total....luckbox!

Actually i think Terry P might have been in it..

my head hurts from yo-yo-ing lunatic style in that game... i'd play well, stack would go down, start playing a bit worse, stack would go up, got my rebuy early after a glory-call went wrong, then down to 2k, double up, double up double up 3 hands in a row, on 11k at the break, first han back, flop trips, lose minimum to a rivered flush, down to 6k...

win every second pot for a blind level, motoring nicely up to about 20k. guy raises who's playing 16k to 1200 at 200-400, i call with 88, flop 567, he checks, i bet 2k, he ships, i snap call, he shows ace ten, rivers an a and i lose what was a 32k pot and am crippled...

survive someone for a while, get moved to table 2, win my first 3 hands which helped... blinds went up leaving me with about 8-10 big blinds, open pushed about 4 of 6 hands, eventually getting called by AQ agint my T6 obviously i hit my 6 to double up, then win about 3 decent pots in about 4 hands time and find myself on 40k at 800-1500... then..

UTG limps, i limp from the button with KJ and laura (i think) checks the BB. flop is JcTc5s, utg bets 5k, i make it 15k and he beats me into the pot... anyone find a call here?? i couldnt and mucked.

two hands later... i raise to 4500 with a5, laura calls, sb and bb both fold. flop KK9 and i open push the flop, laura has 99... how she doesnt put me on KK here i have no idea!! :p

good game, nice hand.. WHERE'S MY BED!!!!

Nice tourney...got drawn between Tony and Dave Masters and decided to keep quiet and let them damage each other, Scot Grey on the table too, had about 8k when moved. Was playing ok, and was motoring with 18k just after the break and got 1010 in the sb, UTG raises to 1600
(blinds 300/600) I flat call on the button. Flop comes Js10sx, I check UTG leads out for 1k (!), I raise to 3 he ships, I actually think about it and call, he has top set and out I go. That was also one of the maddest cash tables I've ever had the misfortune of playing. The 2 big winners were absolutley terrible.
