Hi, Has anybody used a simple software solution that can convert non-copyright protected DVD files to DivX or Xvid format? I've done some searching on the topic, but could not find an easy solution. It doesn't have to be a freeware solution, as I don't mind paying a moderate price for a licence. I also don't want that…

Hi,

Has anybody used a simple software solution that can convert non-copyright protected DVD files to DivX or Xvid format?

I've done some searching on the topic, but could not find an easy solution.

It doesn't have to be a freeware solution, as I don't mind paying a moderate price for a licence. I also don't want that nasty "DivX video" logo in the corner of the converted files.

Since some of you have problems reading the Charter and FAQ, please note that any discussion of how to backup/copy/rip/shrink/etc of any type of DVD is banned here. Regardless of whether they are copyrighted or not.
