Dualshock 3 / SKU's

    Hey guys,

    I'm saving up for a PS3 at the minute. I read that the Dualshock 3 will be coming to Europe in "Spring 2008", does anybody have a more accurate date? I won't be buying a PS3 untill they're released otherwise I'll have to pay another 100 euro for 2 controllers at a later date.

    All the 60GB PS3's are gone/almost gone now, leaving just the 40GB PS3. Are we only going to have that SKU over here or are there others on the way?

    Sony has stopped manufacturing the 60 GB's so from now on only 40 Gb will be available through all Europe!
    yes its a better idea to wait until 2008 for Dual Shock 3 but u can still import them from asian websites!!!:)

    I'm waiting to buy a PS3 in 2008 which includes the Dualshock 3, otherwise I will have to go out and spend another 50 euro per controller to replace the sixaxis ones that come with the console if I buy it now.

    Its not being bundled with the PS3 in Japan yet so can't see it replacing the Sixaxis here when its launched in March.
    You could be waiting a long time for it to be the standard controller.

    I bought a bundle with an extra controller - it's still boxed, and I'll bring it in for exchange when the dualshocks are released...

    I bet that when the dualshock 3's are released here they almost certainly wont be packaged with the ps3 for a good few months. Sony must have manufactured a ton of sixaxis controllers by the time they saw that dualshock was what we actually wanted so they will be wanting to get rid of all of them first. So I think you may aswell buy your ps3 now and enjoy it! According to news yesterday about an extra note found in the latest ps3 firmware. The dualshock COULD be here early 2008 and not march like we originally thought.
