Broken Lens !

    Hey all !

Just posting here to see if anyone has any idea about this ... I had my Panasonic Luxim digital camera with me at my Xmas night out last Thursday, and when someone was taking a picture of a group of us they dropped it while it was on and the lens got quite a bang, enough to cause it not to pull itself in when you turn it off. Instead it makes a continuous clicking noise as if it's trying and then just gives up. It appears to have tilted to one side. Any idea how much this would cost to fix it or would I be better off just buying a new camera ??? I never seem to have luck with cameras. My last one was a Samsung and we had endless bother with it from day one !!!

    Thanks ! :o

Unfortunately its usually more economical to replace than repair with point and shoot cameras.
