Anyone listen to these? Really good band. New album is good, but the previous one "Misery is a Butterfly" is amazing.

They're a 3 piece with quite a lot of production layered on top. Have no idea what they would be like live but the recordings are great. They've been going since 1993, the lead singer is a Japanese burd who's married to the drummer who's brother is the guitarist, who are Italian. Keepin it in the family.

Yeah I like them. There is something kind of creepy about her voice though which I cant put my finger on. Saw them support Interpol in London 2 weeks ago. They were pretty good live. Id like to see them in a smaller venue next time as the big London crown werent very into it.

I've only heard the song "23" by them, and it is amazing.

I really must listen to some more of their suff.

Yeah, I definitely hear the creepiness. It's sort of reminiscen of Shiina Ringo (who is also Japanese) when she sings in English. Must be a Japanese thing! So you reckon they are good live? How did they go about recreating the sound of the recordings, or did they?

"Doll is Mine" from Misery Is A Butterfly is my favourite song. I'd recommend that album to anyone looking to hear more of their stuff...
