Anyone got any tips on ways to get your sex drive back?

Mine was never roaring but it has dwindled even more over the past few years and i find it particularly hard to get motivated during the winter months.

Are there any foods or supplements that i could take that might improve things for me?

Im 27 and female by the way. Thanks.

Wish I had some advice for you, I'm in the same position but I'm a bit older than you. If there was a miracle cure I'd love to know what it is!

Perhaps go to your GP, the pill can cause low sex drive, it does after all mess with your hormones.

Ive heard Ginseng can help improve you sex drive. Other than that it may be a good idea to talk to your doctor about it.

Craichoe - I was on the pill years ago and more laterally the injection depo-provera and yes, i found that they messed up my sex drive and made me depressed.
But iv been free from hormone altering birth controll for 4 years now so its not that...

I enjoy sex when i eventually get going and am able to reach orgasam (granted it does take a while) but only because my poor BF is persistant and knows exactly what it takes.

I mastrubate fairly regularly too and in an effort to increase my sex drive i stopped doing that, it imporved things a bit for a while but im back to the way i was again.

Ho Hum... No Miracle cure then :(

I find my sex drive is way way higher when i'm excercising regularly anyway, might just be me, but could be worth a try.

Im not so sure about saw palmetto. It's supposed to have a testosterone lowering effect, certainly DHT and as such would maybe lower existing sex drive as testosterone in women is an important part of their sex drive. If you were going the natural supplement route I would suggest cutting out soy and all soya products(especially soy milk) as that does have an effect on hormones. Just a thought.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I second the exercise thing. Might be different for a girl but when I don't exercise my drive can get low. A week on the treadmill and Bob's your uncle again. Worth a shot.
