    Hi again,

I have a copy of a fender fretless jazz bass, and was wondering where i could get a fretted neck from? and are they expensive? I only use the bass for recording at home really, and the fretless is nice, but its damn hard to play right!!

How expensive was it? I'd just leave it be and get a second bass.

Requires a slightly more advanced technique than a fretted, but nothing else quite sounds like it. If you really can't stand it and don't want it in the future, just sell it and get a fretted.

This is Warmoth, one of the leaders in quality replacements. There are others cheaper, but this'll give you the whole picture, I think.

Edit: LOL Fey, you snuck in just before me :)
