Reardens and Chambers are owned by the same crowd ...

They both charge on the door after a certain hour.

The Bróg used to be since a nice pub before they expanded it into the Hairy Lemon and Crannóg.

I'm coming back to Cork soon for some drinks for the first time in over a year. Looking forward to seeing what's changed and what's the same.

The Brogs pints are getting worse and worse alright. But it can be good craic inside... As long as your pissed before going in.

The Bróg stinks alright, but the music/atmosphere can be good, just not good enough to overcome the stench and the pints.
Reardens charge after 11 on Saturdays, its not too bad on Fridays/Sundays with live music.
Old Oak usually has an older crowd than the rest.

The Brog is a dump and the pints are p*ss and it will remain that way until the people who go there for the 'craic' wake up and realise they are practically drinking from the urinals.

Soho and slainte too. The slainte is fairly good. Wouldnt norm go to bailey bit on the young and crowded side. often have some drunk weido giving hassle in brog. quad i just dont like but the musics good.

I think the problem with the Quad is that it's too dingey and the sound is awful in there. It just lacks any kind of atmosphere to have a fun night.
