Hard, I think. Isn't that the one that causes all the limescale?

    Hard of course.
If you have sensitive skin , you can tell after a 20 min shower.
Feels like you have a face mask on.

My skin doesn't react well to our water.

Certain Northsiders will inform you that their water is hard (just like them)
whilst the water on the Southside is a tad soft ;)

Best bet is to phone your local council or check the kettle for limescale.

Yea, that's why I asked, I've been having some hair and skin troubles since I moved here so was wondering could it be the water.:(

I've always heard heard water tastes better than soft...
Moved to Dublin a few weeks ago and apparently this is BS!
The water in UCD tastes (and smells) rank

What's with the brown water in Wicklow? I've heard it's due to the bogs, and perfectly safe to drink, but it freaks me out, when i go down there.

And that was referring to me. Insulting and disrespectful behavior. Yes, this is AH, but it does not mean you can insult people. In fact I'm pretty sure it says that on the charter.

Yet, this is not the time nor the place for this discussion, any other points you wish to make in response can be done via PM.

    Soft water in most areas.
