    maybe they are going to do a deal with iTunes - I'm happy streaming my Zen through my 360

    This doesn't affect the playing of MP3s through games such as Excite Truck though - it's simply in the photo channel only.

    And hey, if you still want to use mp3s in your photo channel, don't install the update.

    Wow, you could be onto something there, that is odd to switch to AAC if there is no Apple partnership coming up...

    yeah - that's what i'm thinking - I can't think of another reason to do this as MP3 is such a universal format (except for iPod people) - I hate iTunes becasue of that format but I might change my mind if it as some sort of Wii type application

    Rumour on the 'net is that it's a licensing issue (mp3 licensing may not be as straightforward as AAC. Or something)
