ok, ive been sniffing around the net every once in a while to see if theres any new news about this.
i heard about the crazy dino riders style plot in the beginning, then that was dismissed. then there was the prehistoic virus plot. then the dino war plot. no one knows what to believe!
what do you all make of this madness?!
heres a link to one of the sites i was checking out.

even i, a humble godzilla fan, think that if jp deviates too much from the original ideas things are gonna get silly.

Screw Jurassic Park, what I really want is a film of Cadillacs and Dinosaurs.

ah, a fellow 90s tv kid?
i loved Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, although i can barely remember it.
theres a possibility though that JP4 will be a rip off of all those 80s/90s cartoons.

    Cadillacs and dinosaurs!

Isn't it supposed to be about dinosaur mercenaries?

theres alot of speculation at the moment.
post apocalyptic setting is one. disease another. simplt hitting google on this one could bring up a few plots.
the dino mercenary one is dismissed, but keeps surfacing

I really want this movie, i cant wait for it!
Whatever madd plot they come out with will be worth the wait. It will be madd and funny because it will so unimaginably implossible because the first 3 movies where real and really happened they just covered it up and killed all the dinosoars, i read it on the internet.

Good call sir. I've been saying for years that I'd love to see a film of this ...

After the debacle that was JP3 I honestly feel the series should be left for dead.

As a massive dino-nut that hurt me a lot to say.

yeah, i was disheartene hearing the plot speculation, the books were great and i liked the sense you got from the first two films,it was reall odd feeling, cant even describe it. jp3 annoyed me,and jp4 by the sounds of it will have me spitting on the franchise.

In fairness JP3 was actually better than the second one, couldn't stand The Lost World, even if Jeff Goldblum is a great actor.

Must agree - 3 was marginally better then 2 though I am not a Goldblum fan :/

I think the ending of JP3 is one of the worst endings to a movie ever. What goes before though isn't too bad.

I can't see how people think JP3 was better than two. 2 was no masterpiece but at least it actually felt like a Jurassic park film. It had some really good 'wonder moments' which had the essence of the first movie. JP3 had none. It was just a rushed mess from its corny start to its plucked out of the air ending.

Agreed. I vividly remember seeing JP3 in the cinema and wondering why the end credits were rolling so soon, I was practically thinking 'is that it?'

There were two ending ideas floating around; One involved the raptors fighting the Spino, the other involved the Spino fighting the army. They just ran out of budget.
Thats what happens when you start making a movie when the script isn't done. Heck the Spinosaurus wasn't even in the storyboards! Up until the last minute, he was intended to be a Baryonx*.

As long as it was based on the graphic novels that the cartoon was a spin off of.

Either would make me happy. Steve E. De Souza was responsible for penning the pilot episode of the series, he's done some of the most outlandish action films in existence. Maybe get him to write the initial draft then have someone like Johnthan Henslaigh come in and clean it up. I can see Thomas Jane in the main role.

That would be made of pure win.

They just dont make them like they used to.

How can anyone rate JP3 over the lost world? JP3 was just one horrible giant
advertisement for Nokia makes me sick I even remember that film:mad:
