Well Timoney basically told us what one half of it is gonna entail.

I don't have a clue what to expect from part 2, probably just basic calculus, limite, diff, integration... the basics.

He won't make it too hard i reckon or else we'd all fail, although maybe he will!

He will, he hates us :(
Timoney's paper should be grand though.

No way of really knowing, from what I gather it's an entirely new course.

Timony seems like an alright guy, he pretty much told us what to expect. Jaeck on the other hand... Well according to various tutorials the exam itself will be on the more practical side, stuff you'ld do in the tutorials as opposed to what's done in lectures. (I'm sure the two are supposed to be similar but I've yet to see the connection =P)

Suprising number of boardsies seem to be in JF Science.

Probably a bit late now but my friend and I asked Jaeck and he said integration won't be on the paper... Everything up to but not including that!!

    That's somewhat of a relief.

Couldnt be too hard so, although i have done absolutely nothing and i will be very rusty.

Will get up at 9 and do a good 2 hours!

I realise this is completely off topic. But I've been wondering for a while if Dr. Richard Timoney is any relation to professor Eanna Timoney of Tmoney Technology.

No, I don't think so. Éanna Timoney has a brother Seán, who's an engineering lecturer in UCC.
