i'd say they are very anxious to get them back though. Companies might think twice before selling them such rare limited edition items again, if music store have any exclusivity deals they could well be on their way to being torn up...

Thats what i was thinking. Its a bit mad that 56 guitars of that caliber can be stolen. Some heads must be rolling. Can you imagine Music store going to fender customs or any of those again looking to buy one offs? I would say it is just pandamonium! I was over in the shop a few times and its all elevators to guitars. I have no idea how they managed it. MUST have been an inside job

Manufacturers couldnt care less what happens to the guitars after they've left the factory/distributor. They've been paid, why on earth would they care that the guitars have been stolen?!

There's 56 guitars that have to be replaced, that's a couple of extra sales each for Gibson, Fender etc.

Good story all the same though, i'd love to know what the circumstances were. Those things are going to be difficult to shift though, you wouldnt plan something like that unless you had a way of getting rid of them quickly. Definitely not an amatuer job. Fair play.
