ACCA and using a pencil

It has been my practise to use a pencil for the workings in my exam. However, someone suggested that it might not be allowed, which it never dawned on me.

My question is, is it okay to use a pencil in exams? I would be grateful for any replies as my exam is very soon!!

    Thank you,

    Y.

yeah i don't think there is any problem with it. I presume you were talking about F7 or P2. I just did F7 and i used a pencil. i can't see them not giving you marks for using one....

i dont know for the acca exams but i think in general its better to use a pen.

id actually prefer using a pencil cos i make a good few mistakes but ive had to get used to using a pen since schoolteachers used hate correctin stuff in pencil!
