Vivitar ViviCam 3755 not working

    Hi, my ViviCam 3755 has stopped working.

    It gets as far as the opening splash screen and just stays on with the splash screen showing.

    It doesn't respond to any button pressing or twisting.

    The lens does not automatically protrude itself like it's supposed to.

    Batteries are fine. It turns off fine.

    Has anyone got the PDF as it's not available on vivitar.com?

    Anyone got any ideas what's wrong with it?

    That happens to my vivitar, it's not the same model as yours (it's a pocket one). About five months after getting it i would turn it on and it would just have the blue screen with the Vivitar "we make things easy". The batteries are fine and i haven't ever dropped it...



    ...so that's why i'm getting a Sony cybershot for Christmas!

    To be honest with you Jules the best bet you have is to take it back to the shop if it's under warranty. If not under warranty chances are it will cost more to get it fixed than to replace it. YMMV.
