setting up a call of duty 4 server

a friedn, bought a server today, and asked me to set it up,
i played around with it for a bit,
adn it said i needed to update the server config file,
whenever i tried to put a new one up it kept saying that the one up there was 0kb, and wouldnt let me paste the new one up.

any ideas?

Ive configured my own server and some for other clans/communities.

I would highly recommend that you use CoD4 commander Pro, it makes it alot more user friendly rather then using a CLI .Here is the link.

Scrap both of those, the second one needs to be switched on all of the time for it to work. The best thing to do is just use the config file.
