setting up a call of duty 4 server

    a friedn, bought a server today, and asked me to set it up,
    i played around with it for a bit,
    adn it said i needed to update the server config file,
    whenever i tried to put a new one up it kept saying that the one up there was 0kb, and wouldnt let me paste the new one up.

    any ideas?
