Getting a ds for christmas and just wanted to ask a few questions to see if anyone has any answers.

first off want to get a good game to start off with so shortlisted these:

    New Super Mario Bros
    Metroid Prime Hunters
    Zelda Phantom Hourglass
    Final Fantasy III
    Meteos
    Elite Beat agents

was wondering what would be the best one to get to introduce me to the ds, has to be something special :) was thinking Zelda.

also which is better Castlevania: portrait of ruin or Castlevania:dawn of sorrow, want to get one but which one is best?

was also looking up Final Fantasy XII:Revenant Wings anyboy know when this is to be released?

same question goes for Dementium: The Ward, anyone know when its released? some say its out already but i havent seen it anywhere.

And finally is there any software or upgrades i should look into getting for the Ds?

    Thanks in advance.

    D.

No upgrades that im aware of but im sure witnessmenow will be on the way to clarify that soon.

Zeldas a pretty cool game, nicely worked for the DS.
New super Mario Bros is pretty good, as you would expect it to be.
A good one that I dont think too many people have, AFAIK, is trauma center- Under the knife. Very good DS game, really what the DS is for, touch screen all the way.
Warioware again is a very good DS game, chaotic, but its basically all touch screen which is cool.

As for the rest im not sure, ive never played them.

BTW, i have New Super Mario Brothers if you want? Gimme a PM if ya fancy it, €25

As for the games , i'd be fairly inclined to go with the above.

Mario kart is pretty class too
Brain training and big brain academy are good if you are into that kind of stuff.

Can i recommend looking into getting an R4 card , It has some pretty cool features. Here's a list of a few:

Media player - for mp3s , jpegs, video etc..
Emulators - for Nes , Game boy, snes , mega drive,
Homebrew games - Original Doom port for example
Homebrew applications - Ds orgainize, as the author says the functions that provides should have came built in to the DS.

Heres my website for more info
