Based in Nth Wicklow, any recommendations, shops, websites and brands to go for or avoid.

I'll be using this to connect my projector to my Onkyo 605, PC,PS2, Wii & Sky (HD soon!)

    Thanks in anticipation.

This will do the job as good as any, you may find cheaper , this was just a quick look.

    Thanks Mathias.
Is there any difference between this and the more expensive models?

Would I be paying for a superior cable, or just marketing & hooey?

Don't buy into the bull that Dixo...ahem certain retailers are dishing out. Paying extra for a HDMI cable s like going all-out for a printer cable. The quality is the same right across the board.

i.e. certain stores are charging extra for 1080p compatible hdmi's as opposed to 720p compatibles. They're both the same! I bought one from and ebay store for about 7 euros, works like a charm.

The signal is digital, ones and zeroes, so there's no way to produce a "better signal" despite the rubbish you might hear. There's either a signal or there isn't, the quality of the resuting picture/sound is only determined by the components you use (TV, AV system etc...)
