When I buy a song from the itunes store is there any way I can transfer it or something so that it will play on Windows Media Player?

Perhaps you could consider buying from somewhere other than itunes so you might be able to play the tracks across various media players.

Or you could download the track using itunes plus and there will be no burn limits and the music will play on all ipods, mac or windows computers etc.

Yeah, it's just one song in particular + I've only seen it on itunes. I'll keep looking.
