    Hi,

Im thinking of buying the LG 26LC2R hdtv after xmas (because i wont have the money before hand :)) and im wondering what peoples impressions of it are.

I found it for cheap enough on pixmania with p&p
    http://www.pixmania.com/ie/uk/313493/art/lg/26lc2r-lcd-television.html
And Il basically be using with my new ps3 for gaming and blu ray movies if anyone wanted to know!

Check ebay---pixmania have a refurb store there. I bought the lc3r which is very similar and great quality for 300 euros.

Please beware: pixmania messed up on the delivery and I waited over a month. Now they were good enough to refund the delivery price as an apology but I have heard they are unreliable.

Luzerntech are another store that offers refurbed TVs. I got Philips 32 inch HDTV in perfect nick from them. Again, ebay store. They're based in Blanchardstown, and I got it for 424 euros. Happy was I!

    Are pixmania really that bad?

I think id rather get a normal tv cos iv heard that refurb tvs have limited warantees. Does anyone actually have the tv and know what its like?

I've ordered loads off of Pixmania and have notihng but good things to say.

I actually have tv. It's perfect for the ps3 and displays hd content very well. Doesn't do too bad a job of displaying standard def either. You won't get a better set a the price imo.

Are there any other Irish/Dublin based shops like Luzerntech? They seem to be pretty good value, I wonder if I could collect from them instead of having a TV delivered?
