    Main one has:

1 x Graflex Pacemaker 4x5 Speed Graphic with 147mm lens, 90mm wide-angle and sundry series 6 and 7 filters mostly for black and white.

8-10 4x5 Film holders. Loaded with TMax 400 at this time of the year, perhaps some colour slide stuff I got cheap. Each cleaned after loading, and wrapped in cling-film to keep clean. That way I also know which is unused, of course.

1-2 120 roll-film holders allowing change of film at any time. Mostly 6x9cm format.

1 x Rocket Air Blower thingey.

    1 x microfibre cloth

1 x plastic notepad that is waterproof and can be written on when wet.

    1 x Sekonic L508 light meter.

    Batteries for Sekonic.

1 x spirit level for camera.

Bits of fluff, paper from 120 rolls, and hairs that keep turning up on my negatives.

Must buy a bigger bag to hold the hernia truss I'm likely to need some day.

This is not my biggest bag.

    I only had a small bag the other night with me - 20D, 40D, 70-200mm f/2.8 IS L, 300mm f/2.8 IS L and a Speedlight 580EX.

All the rest of my gear was left at home.

I've recently started doing my own B/W stuff with a Jobo rotary processor. I also have an Epson V750 scanner. Learning all this is an uphill battle.

I love the Speed Graphic. I've two, one is standard, the other adapted to take lenses fixed at infinity (was an old aerial camera). The fact the camera has a focal plane shutter that you can use if you like, enables the use of any lens you want, more or less. Normally you would use the leaf shutter at the lens, and that enables flash at any shutter speed. More info on the Graflex Speed Graphic etc here and on Camerapedia

Back in 1947, the Speed Graphic cost 250 USD, equivalent to 2500 USD today.

a friend was recently loaned an arca swiss, and he's still getting to grips with it. hence the question.
