hmmm sounds qware good. may venture in and play in it. 10k GTD with lots of fishies probably :D

I'd say there it will play like a 2k added tourney. I doubt 50 will want to pay 200 + 20 for it? or not...I hope there's 50+ anyway.

We've never had an overlay on this tournament MuddyDog, however, we also have never had <65 players, which makes for a good tournament in itself anyway.

BTW, dinner will be available at the break with light refreshments being served throughout the day

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,506 ✭✭✭Shortstack

Joe/Jimmy - Can you make sure the results get to me asap.

Sorry myself or Brian never made it up yet again! Will definately make the next one...

Rob Taylor gets knocked out in the worst possible fashion...

As a shortie he pushes all in in the 200/400 50 blind in the cut off for just over 3,000 with 3-3, gets called by A,Q J.P. White in the SB.

Flop comes J-J-9 , turn and river 5-5 ace high plays with 2 pair!

Will get those to you tonight as soon as tournament is over Mike thanks,
    Glenn

    T.V. Hand of Note!!

    Blinds are 1,000-2,000 ante 200

18 left, folded around to Sean Grace in the small blind who raises it to 6k playing roughly 18k, who gets re raised all in by Cahill Sweeney in the BB.
    Sean thinks and calls,
    They show
    Sean Grace : 4-4
    Cahill : A-3

Window card on the flop reveals 4, followed by 2 and a 7

Turn brings 4-2-7-5 Giving Cahill the wheel, But is soon counterfeited by a 5 on the river giving Sean the house! (4-2-7-5-5)

Joe never came to play gavin, but yes i'm sure he'd be out by now if he had come :p

Had to work instead, by the way was some sort of deal done to change the payout structure, im sure you didnt suggest 10 be paid?
sure if i was as much of a luckbox as you id be playing much higher stakes than $10 games!

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 219 ✭✭goldclubcasino

yeah, the suggested pay-out was for 7 players, since 7 tables had started, they did a deal once they hit the final table, so that everybody would be paid. people enjoyed it i think, the average stack when they hit 4 handed was 32 BB's!

Would just like to say that the staff and players (mainly locals) that were at the tourney last night we're the friendliest I've ever come across anywhere!

The structure was fantastic, the dealers were excellent and the craic wasn't too bad either. Would seriously consider having a go at that one again.

Left the place about 4.30am totally shattered and fit for nothing but a coma, but at least I could feel my toes again by lunchtime . . . . the upstairs area was that cold that there were a couple of players at my table doing Riverdance under the table just to keep the circulation going! :D
