    I think it could be limited to 10 bottles, don't know why I'm saying that though. Gut feeling I guess

    Bag is 1 litre capacity. You can only have ten 100ml bottles. So say if you have eleven bottles and 9 are full (100ml), and the other two have 50mls in them, you can only take one of the 50 ml bottles. Not the two of them. If you have a half empty bottle, it takes one of your 100ml limits away.

    Generally as many as you can stuff in while still being able to seal the bag, though as has been noted already, there's some practical limitations to this.

    Continental Europe - they generally don't give a hoot.
