    Green Joker Poker is a good start. They have good signup bonuses that clear quickly.

    Yep, has to be Green Joker Poker - I'm only a newbie to it myself, but well pleased with the cracking sign up bonus and VIP loyalty schemes they have to offer as well as the brilliant support.

    :)

    As I mentioned in an earlier post it has to be Green Joker Poker

    :: Great sign-up bonus
    :: Brilliant VIP Loyalty schemes
    :: Good support
    :: ...and Irish based of course :)
    :: ...and the majority of fish here on Boards play on it ;)

    GJP is a good site. Cold do with a revamped colour scheme though.

    Seriously! Tournie selection section is brutal on the eyes. Kind of a Macspower special kinda thing.

    Yeah the "blue" colour in the Tournaments section causes me to have a seizure :D

    If they changed that to "white" they'd be laughing. :)

    GJP is grand, although it's a pity that the background behind your name and stack size isn't a different colour than your opponents, like at other skins.

    Victor Chandler is the best choice for a micro stakes player as they give out loads of points in small pots (<$5), compared to other skins.

    GJP is the nutz

    As said by others already.

    Great signup bonus
    imo the best VIP program of all ipoker skins
    Cus service 2nd to none.
    Regular reload bonus

    And most importantly Irish owned and run by poker players!

    You should check out www.thepokerreview.uni.cc it just gives a review of a coupl of poker sites but talks about which sites suit which styles. if your goin to play online you have to play the american sites or the big european sites to get good traffic. i played for ages on titan but the style didnt suit me.

    Are peoples connections to iPoker generally OK. I keep getting disconnected every 20 hands or so. I've tried 2 different internet connections.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,924 ✭✭✭shoutman

    I cant play on ipoker due to my internet connection and it fcuks me right off.

    I cant play more then two tables at a time without constant disconnections.

    I don't get it. I can download at 350KB/s and got sub 100s ping rates but still can't play. Got disconnected with AA (raise and reraise in front of me), KK in raised pot and 44 in raised pot on a 44X flop in the last hour. One headwrecking experience.

    no probs for me last few days lads

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,201 ✭✭✭Macspower

    I have no problems with it but had a long conversation with sickpuppy from boards who can't stay connected for more than 10 mins at any time but can play every other network...

    I think I had something downloading on another computer which I'd forgotten about which was clogging the connection. I also had PAHud accessing the PT database over my wifi connection which might have been bogging that down every now and again.

    The first company to make a friendly system for traffic shaping will make loads from poker players :)
