    The good news ?

There's a clone of the TM Type 89 on the way.

    The bad news ?

    Its Both Elephant

Although to be fair the guy mentions that it seems to be good quality, and better than anything BE have released so far.
I have the TM version myself, and I have to say I love it. I used it for a half day in predator awhile back and aside from a slowish rate of fire, and enjoyed using it. Even though it does look a bit like a FAL :)

Its also interesting to read that he claims TM aren't too concerned about clone manufacturers ripping off their designs, as they have little inclination to export. Strange.

I always thought a japanese assault rifle would be the most adavnced bullpup p90 famas scar electronic phazor ever.

    Just looks like a fal.

Bit dissapointed, though it is cool, just expected different from the home nation of superbikes, playstation, asimos, wiis, good cars....

Its probably very well made in real steel though but is a bit normal looking.

Edit: Just want to point out though I really like the look of it.

Tony, what gearbox is the tm model? Id like to fit one of those mechanical 3 shot bursts in something.

Nice, very classic for the design, but there is something I like in it.

Please tell me version 8 is just a version 2 with the additional parts for the burst setting!

This is for my m4a1 to m4 project.

Edit: failing that dex is developing designs for a mosfet based controller, which he said he'd share, mentioned it in a previous thread.

I like the type 89 even though it is a bit to small to shoulder for my height. It's a nice AEG for those wishing to seperate themselves from the countless M16/M4 variants around and it also takes STANMAGs
