Tax question....

    Hi all,

    Back in 2003 I completed an I.T. course which I had paid for in full, I claimed tax relief for the course and recieved an amended tax cert.

    I understood that I would recieve the "refund" through my salary as my tax credits had increased as a result, after a previous claim I received a cheque from Revenue because it related to a past tax year.

    My salary never reflected the refund in this instance, I mentioned the fact to the Financial Director but I was just fobbed off!

    Anyhoo, the company folded at the end of August this year and only now have I remembered this after flicking through the crap in my Tax folder!

    My question is, would a request to the Revenue for a P21 Balancing Statement show up this error?
