    Is it possible to have a friends list in wow and if so how do i invite someone/check their location status. Thanks sorry if its a stupid question but im a wow newb

    Press 'O' - select the friends tab. Click add friend - enter name. Bingo.

    It will show their location also, and when they are online etc.
