The pentax equivalent (k10d) has rave reviews - award winning, etc.., etc... lot of people swear by them. I am in the pentax camp with older model but would hope to go to the k10d in the not too distant future. I haven't found any major problems with pentax lens, flash or other accessories (God Bless Tim Berners-Lee). Lots of second hand gear constantly available on eBay, B&H, etc...

I am going to buy Pentax K10D after Christmas. Maybe the Samsung one, because it is cheaper.
However there are some unofficial news about next generation of Pentax DSLRs...
We'll see after Christmas.
But the truth is - Pentax can't catch this harvest. Bad for their sales. What a stupid product management!
