ProActiv Solution - yay or nay?

I've been intrigued by the ProActiv Solution ads on telly. I'm 28 and I always have clusters of spots. While I'm not going to go so far as to call it "acne", it still bothers me quite alot. It's seems to have got worse in the past few years (no change in pill, or diet).

Just wondering does anyone know if this is good? Or does anyone know of any cheaper alternatives in mainstream shops? Proactiv is quite expensive, although i would be tempted to fork out the dosh if it actually worked, i'm not prepared to shell out that much just to try it out!

is that the one that Jessica Simpson endorses?

To be honest I really don't think I'd buy something like that for my skin from the tv. I'd have to have talked to my dr etc about it.

Would you not consider changing your pill? Could be hormonal if it's gotten worse in the last few years!

Yes but ive been on the same pill since i was 17 and it's only got worse in the past 3 years or so.

Yeah i'm the exact same!! been on cilest since i was 117, now 21 and my skins gotten worse in the last few months!!

maybe give it a try but i'd do a good bit of research into proactive before purchasing it

speak to your doctor. maybe get them to check your hormone levels. i was recently diagnosed with polycystic ovaries, one side affect of which is bad skin.

dianette is a pill that can be effective in combatting spots. you will only need to be on it maybe 3 months to notice the difference.

failing that Dermalogica do alot of stuff for problem skin. i'd rather use that than the stuff that Jessica Simpson promotes.
