I belive that they are staying in the same place that they did a couple of years ago when I sneeked in and joined their trip as a "mature" student. It was ski-in/ ski-out, right on the edge of the main piste down into Pas, just 100m or so above the lifts and only a quick walk down the road to all the bars.

If anyone's thinking of it, Pas de la Casa is a great little place.

Both those prices are ridiculuously cheap for an all in ski holiday

Neilthefunkee1: Can you tell me more about your holiday. I just organised a trip to Livignio in March and its nowhere near as cheap as yours!

well we're goin to Val Thorens for 630 each including a 7 day 3 vallée lift pass. Stayin in an apartment, granted it is Jan 12th but 787 does sound pricey for andorra!

Edit: Lessons included, didn't take that into account... still kinda pricey...

got it with holidaysonline.ie.. they work for panorama. we booked 25 places, two of them places they gave us for free so we spread the saving over the rest of the places.. didn make a huge difference but it all helps.. its a half board apt/hotel so i think we get a breakfast buffet.. or an evening buffet.. either way thats cool!! Breaks down as:
Flights, transfers, accom and tax - 396
    lift pass - 144
    rental - 96
cant remember what the lessons were. only 2 people booked lessons.. fairly trained bunch we are!!!

we booked through the same company last yr for pas de la casa and we got 2 for 1 lift passes and 2 free places as well.. dont know who dcu are bookin throug, sounds like they are gettin ripped off though!!

The reason for the price is because we're going from sunday to sunday, most travel agents and flights work on a saturday to saturday. The reason for the sunday to sunday is as a result of DCU's exam schedule, some exams lie on the saturday and thus some people would not be able to go on the trip.

Just a mention now, I've found a place and I no longer need to fill it.

Everywhere in Andorra does Sunday - Sunday but pretty much all other EU resorts run Saturday - Saturday. I don't think that price is too bad actually once you've included the hire and lessons, it might have included the Pas lift pass as well but you didn't say.

Someone just made up the Sunday thing though as that is normal for Andorra.

Thanks for the details. It'll be good to know next time.

My holiday price does include lessons, the ski pass is a bit more expensive and we don't have a group as big as your group, my gear rental is the same price, but the big difference is in accommodation and flights.

I contacted the ski pass company and the best deal they could do me was 5% discount on 20 or more ski passes.
