corrupt pst? run scanpst.exe (C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\MSMAPI\1033 on my XP Pro) and browse to the pst location. it will probably report as having errors anyway...run the repair and see what happens.

if all else fails, export/back up your exchange mailbox and archive to a pst and reinstall outlook as the program could be corrupt.

One other thing, do you use Outlook Web Access? How does that perform?

    All worth a try.
