Think it will be a good xmas pressie for the father he's been going on about some offer in Aldi that he should have got, but i haven't got a clue about any of it to be honest!! Also can you set up one box to work two tv's in the house or would i need two seperate boxes? Thanx:confused::confused:

    You mean Free To Air.
The Aldi / Lidl offers aren't especially good, usually older receivers with poor User Interface and Dishes too Small for Ireland.

    You want a 65cm to 80cm dish.
Both TVs would have same channel with one box.
Each box needs its own LNB connection at dish. So a Quad LNB is recommended.

If you are looking for Aldi/Lidl type bargain , try http://www.hm-sat-shop.de/en_index.es or for lower prices http://www.toci.de/xtcommerce/index.php/cat/c51_SAT-Welt.html , but Toci site is only in German . Toci sell Comag boxes which get very good marks from German consumer magazine "Test" .
