Hi does anyone know when Fitzpatrick's in Limerick City will be holding one of these sats? The IPC website doesn't have details on it and also they don't seem to update their own website too regulary.
Just wondering aswell, will it be a €150 entry + €100 rebuy?

Fitzpatrick's Casino in Limerick City will be holding a satellite for the IPC on the 15th December. Its €135+15 with 1 rebuy. Give me a ring in the casino on 061 408 242 between 8pm and 6am and ask for Ben.

Cheers, I was looking on fitzpatricks site.

There's no info on the IPC site tho about the structure on the 15th, any idea on this?

I'd say that it will probably be similar to the majority of the other satelittes around the country with 25 min blinds, but then again they might just keep it at the usual 20 mins. That wouldn't be good value for the buy-in though.

I should of asked last night. I'll ask tonight and post the info if they don't do it first.

The flyers don't say anything about gtd tickets so I imagine there isn't.
Saturday is their quietest night but 30 people turned up for an identical sat in Shannon 2 weeks back and a few regulars expressed interest in playing on Saturday. I would be shocked if it doesn't generate a ticket.

I played the satelitte on Tuesday in Ennis and there was a very bad turnout. Only 20 people but still there were 2 tickets up for grabs as most people either bought back or topped up.
The blinds were 25mins and there were antes on the final table when the blinds were 1000/2000.
I fought it pretty enjoyable even though I donked out in 7th when my all-in QQ got beaten by a made flush from KJs :(.
Overall prizepool was €4,175 so there were 2 x IPC tickets (2000 each) and 175 cash for 3rd place.

Fitzpatricks don't really know much about this tournament. People connected with the IPC are coming in to run it. The Fitz are pretty pissed with the lack of info from them.

The card room manager reckons, about 8k starting stack, 10k for rebuy. All levels. 20/25 mins. This is just a rough guide.

    8pm start.

if its poker events thats running it it'll be 10k starting and 10k rebuy with 25min blinds like they ran in shannon a few weeks back?but i'm sure they'll confirm all this a few minutes before they start;)

well after a no show from poker events the fitzpatrick decided to run this anyway.15 entries 11 rebuy/top-ups so we had enough for a ticket.

chip leader going to the final table and was feeling confident but lost a couple of races/50-50's to go back to about average stacked in the 1k/2k level with 7 left at this stage.then the club had a moment of brilliance and decide to skip the 1500/3000 level and go straight to 2k/4k:eek:

after complaints from every player, they decide to skip it anyway:confused: and we contiued with the all'in or fold fest.finished 6th but it was a good night and great crack,an especially good night for Q's.not one hand that contained a Q with any type of kicker lost all night and was the subject of great banter all through the game.

to the lad that won with Qh7h wp and to brian, very unlucky.
