I'm looking to buy a new N64 controller, preferably an official one.

Does anyone know any good websites? I've tried Amazon etc. Are there any reliable sites out there that have the official controllers?

Or are there any shops in the Dublin area that might have them?

Your best bet is probably picking up some 2nd-hand controllers on eBay/adverts.ie, then some replacement joysticks & the necessary screwdriver off eBay/online resellers (can't think of any now that Lik-Sang's gone though).

There is a very good shop on Talbot Street in Dublin - Game Exchange iirc. They do a fair few old consoles and games and they had N64 games last time I was in.

Really that's awesome! I was looking to pick up some games that I missed out on. Paper Mario mostly, but I figured I'd have to get them online.

I might drop in one of these days.

    Thanks.

That Game Exchange place was great! No N64 controllers, but the guy put my name down for one.
Also managed to pick up Perfect Dark and F Zero X for €30! Pretty sweet deal!

Is it really that sweet when F-Zero X is 10e on VC? :p

It is considering I haven't got a Wii yet! Not until Fire Emblem is released anyway.

Besides I got two classic games for only €30! I'm happy!

    Hi,

I'm looking for 2 N64's and Mario Kart 64, asap, can meet in Dublin.

Or if anybody knows any shops in town selling them?

I both 3 controllers in Game exhchange and they were all rubbish with screwed up joysticks. You are better off going to Rage on Fade Street. I got controllers there before and they all work perfectly. If you are buying a N64 controller check the joystick. If it's loose and moves on it's own and doesn't centre then it's screwed.

3D games on Grafton Street sometimes have retro controllers in their glass cabinet. Their prices are coming down, but they're still pretty extortionate. Mind, they still manage to be cheaper than Game Exchange.
