setting shortcut key

    Hey guys i want to set a shortcut key to switch between my monitor and lcd but i cannot find how to do it.
    my lcd is hooked up through an 8800gtx with nvidia driver 163.75.
    i can switch between them in the control panel no problem just want a quick way to do it.

    when im watching a movie would rather watch it on the lcd or sometimes playing games i also switch.

    Oh so you have the two monitors dualed yeah (off the one card)?

    under advanced options under settings in display, is there an extra tab specific to your gfx card? on my machine, i get extra options to assign hotkeys to screen rotation/monitor selection etc.

    yep ive my pc monitor a 24" dell and my lcd a 40" samsung :D watching movies is the main reason for switching between displays

    I'll have a look at this prop when i get home from work.

    Off hand I can think of a way to write a script to change it

    oShell.Run "control desk.cpl,,3"
    Do Until oShell.AppActivate("Display Properties")
    WScript.Sleep 100
    Loop
    oShell.SendKeys "2%u~"

    However I havent tested it yet.

    cheers but im not that up on pc to try that if anyone can find a solution it would be great.
