hey guys, just looking to get a cheap enough, decent accoutic in Dublin, I've tried the stores along...ah..ye know the street Tower Records is on, the first one there seemed reasonable enough, think I could get one in there for about 70. Haven't tried Piggots yet or the stores by Georges Arcade etc, but I've heard of people picking up decent, cheap guitars in like second hand sorta shops and stuff, just wondering if anyone has any experience of this?

My proper guitars are at home in wex, I just want summit to keep me going while I'm up here...

    Thanks!

Yeah, second hand would definitely be a good idea. You might want to try on adverts.ie

€70? Second hand is going to be the only way you'll get a playable guitar with that sorta cash.

no, Perfect Pitch on Wicklow street had some round that region, was shocked when I seen it...granted they could be second hand, just went in for a quick gander one day and seen some

I'm sure they had them alright. Argos have guitars for that price. I doubt they're particularly playable though.

Cormie, there is a system in place to notify people of PM's. Do not post "PM sent" messages. And here is not the place to sell your guitar.

You could get something to keep you going but it would have a ridiculously high action and just be generally crap. You get what you pay for.
