    Hi folks,

I'm looking for a virtual phone number for a startup company, basically I'd prefer customers to be dialling a local number as apposed to my mobile, I feel it instills more confidence, but all I need this virtual number to do is to divert all calls to my mobile. Can this be setup through voip? Can anyone recommend a good company?

Thabks in advance for all the help!

It depends on the provider, most of them do offer call divert. Check out the websites that are listed in the sticky at the top of the forum.

Blueface do everything you ask.. their freedom basic package (€9.99 pm) gives 300 minutes of calls and a geographic number.. using their gui page you can forward calls to your mobile and or another number...very cool..Mine first rings the geographic number and five second later rings my mobile at the same time ..i can answer it on which ever phone i'm nearest..watch out for the forward to mobiles cos you pay for the duration of the call..

I use blueface and have my calls diverted from a "its virtual land line number" to my mobile often.
Sometimes I actually divert my mobile to it as I can listen to the voicemails via an email link they send for free online anywhere in the world.
You can get a local Fax to email number from them aswell and can send faxes too using that local number by emailing them as a pdf to the fax generator.
