    hi all

    a subjective question I know
but I am just looking for feedback on this..

i am changing humbuckers on a epiphone goldtop LP
I need four conductors as i want to do jimmy page wiring
    (taps/series/parallel/out of phase etc etc)

    I want a classic/vintage sound,
think slash/page that sort of thing

i am thinking SD pearly gates neck and custom 5 bridge
(these are in my budget, no dosh for bareknuckles etc
they would cost more than i paid for the guitar)

I have done hours of research and everyone
    has their opinion...

    whats yours?

Seymour Duncan JB (sh4) in the bridge, it is the dogs kahoolees of classic bridge humbuckers. Sh1 or sh2 in the neck, never use it that much tbh, it's all about the bridge pickup.

This place does fantastic deals on SD stuff

My mate has Gibson '57 classics in his epiphone explorer and they sound lush.
