Just a quick question on these.....i've been cheaping my eye out for a CHEAP nsr125 or rs125 for the last month or 2. Emphasis on the word cheap ;) I just want one that runs well. It will only be used as a bit of a weekend toy. The only reason i am looking for one of these is that i had to sell my sv650 when i went back to college and if i dont insure a bike again before next june i will lose my 5 years no claims bonus! So i am just looking for something very cheap, but also a bit of fun. I always wanted one of these so thought they would fit the profile perfectly!

Has anybody else noticed the total lack of these anywhere for the last while? Bike buyers guide doesn't have any of them in the used section and hasn't for ages. Surely there are still some around the country that are running and not crashed?!

They're getting rare these days and owners are hanging onto them due to the euro 3 laws. You won't find many good examples. Most of the ones for sale need new piston rings and decoking but this isn't reflected in the price. Ask on Biker.ie as a few there are probably selling for the right price. Personally I'd go for the NSR 125 as the RS 125 is a pain to get parts for.
