Things you do for years without realising how stupid it is

    For example:

The last time it was frosty I mentioned to my friend that I must open the attic door tonight. My confused friend asked why. I said 'I open it to let the heat up so the pipes dont freeze'. She cacked herself laughing. I made her laugh even more by saying my dad rang me that day to remind me to open the door.

I have since realised we seem to be the only family to do it and that it's not needed :o

    Any other gems out there?

I always put my TV on standby before turning it off. Absolutly no idea why.

I can't stand that. My girlfriend always does it and then when you turn the telly back on, it's in standby!

I used to drive very fast, last time I was caught doing just over 130mph on the M50... You wouldn't believe how I got away with that one, but I did.

I drove at (plus) 160 & 170 mph alot of times too.

Stupid, absolutely stupid. Now the bikes are gone, the fast car's are a thing of the past, I've grown older and wiser and drive a 2ltr diesel now!.

Other than that, I'm grand now.

So he can creep downstairs in the middle of the night and watch pr0n without disturbing anyone.

If he turned on the telly and the sound was up loud, he'd most likely wake someone.

Please don't :o... No seriously, I know why he does it, I was too embarressed to say before.. He thinks the speakers could blow up if it's turned on and the volume is up,... :o

    Are you happy now :(
