Strange, funny and outdated laws

I was reading the Defamation Act, 1961 when I surprised to come across this:
Words spoken and published which impute unchastity or adultery to any woman or girl shall not require special damage to render them actionable.

I myself find this an odd addition - it's funny the government would afford more protection on this matter for a woman and neglect males.

Anyone care to share some gems from the statute that are strange, funny, outdated or a bit of each that they have seen?

I hate to steal your thunder (box) but I think there's already a thread going on this. It became redundant a while ago.

I love the 7 day detention for cattle tipping! Its still in force.
