eBay Suspension

    Hi!

    So Ive been on eBay since September and Ive bought about a dozen items. Ive only ever bought from an auction once, normally I just 'buy it now', which I know is a bit more expensive but Im too impatient for auctions. Ive never had any problems with sellers, I always pay straight away, except once it took me 20 hours to pay because I work off 3V vouchers and I had to wait for the next day to go to the shop and buy the voucher etc. All the feedback Ive ever given is positive likewise with what Ive recieved.

    So you can imagine how surprised I was when I checked my email Monday and found that eBay had suspended my account for "breaching the user terms and agreement". It said in the email that if I wanted to appeal I had to reply to the email, so I replied by asking what exactly it was that I had supposedly done. I sent that yeasterday and again today with no reply.

    Has this ever happened to anyone? My first thought was that maybe I hadnt paid for something but I checked and I have reciepts for everything Ive bought and I always keep every email from eBay so on the extreme off chance Id bought something and forgot about it I would have the email, but everything is in order.

    What should I do? This is really confusing me so any advice/experience would be great thanks!

    Yeah I thought of that too but when i logged into 'My eBay' it was the same deal

    Could you view your account when you logged in, or were you just given a blocked message? Is it possible that someone has been using your account, do you log in on a public PC (college, work, 'net cafe, etc)?

    Just email ebay through your ebay account and it usually takes 1-2 days to get a reply so just be patient.

    The alert comes up when I log in but it is possible to skip it. I just emailed them through my eBay account now so I'll just have to wait I guess.
