EAC 1911 with Pachmayr Rubber handgrip

    Im going to order this 1911 soon from ehobby. Just saw that grip on ebay. So I whipped out my Photoshop and stuck they two together. It pleases me.

    all thats needs now is a treaded barrel & silencer for pure perfection.
    can an spare barrel be bought?

    Would the barrel need to be changed in order to fit a silencer on this model?

    yeah you need an extended outer & inner barrel with an exposed thread.

    i know 14 mil is the standard on AEGs but it would have to be bigger for this as the barrel housing, based on a .45 RS barrel as opposed to .223 or 7.62, would obviously be larger than this.

    someone boards has a surpressed 1911, i remember seeing it laid out on a bed in the pics thread.

    You know, I love M1911s and all of their varients. But I wouldn't take one to bed. That's just sick.:eek:

    And painful, and you smell like propane after, and you can never look at the 1911 the same way again, it's not worth it.....
