I know the whole issue of accessing Q-drive at home has already been discussed but when i tried what was suggested it wouldn't work. It said that Uninstall shield was in use or something. Help please!

so wait, have you installed netdrive?

just try a fresh install of it...

then enter the following when you run it.

    site name: UDrive
    URL: https://udrive.nuigalway.ie/oneNet/NetStorage
    server type :WebDEV
    Drive: U
    Username: <IDnumber>

then click connect, enter your pw, and it will show up in my computer

Open task manager (ctrl+alt+delete) and check the processes tab for unistallshield, click it and then press 'end process'. Netdrive install should work after that.
