    hi guys,

i'm on a constant search for grazing and I'm getting nowhere, but maybe you could help me with some queries:

11 month let - does this start in January??

Roughly how much would you pay per acre in Wicklow.

    Thanks,

    Lou

I'd be interested to hear how you get on with this. The yard I used to be on is now charging €60 per week for grass livery... no stable, no facilities, no tack room... nuthin'

    Feckin rip off!

I'm a little less than hopefull, I have been searching on and off for the past year and found nothing, despite putting flyers in all the local houses letter boxes, local shops, ESB poles.

The cost doesn't bother me at all, I just need 1-5 acres.

Farmer next door has his fields lying idle for months on end and won't help :mad:

    Wow.

MissLouLou will ask a friend in Wicklow - has her own yard.. either she might be able to help or might know someone who can.. how many horses for and are they in work/retired, mares/geldings etc etc

Thats SO annoying.. they are convinced that horses will trash the place (which is true if you let them.. I suppose a couple of bad apples ruined it for everyone else..)

Still.. infuriating if you are looking for grazing.. case of grass grass all about and not a blade to graze...

I wouldn't mind but he has his couple mares on it in the summer for foaling, the rest of the time maybe 3 or 4 cows in a 9 acre field :mad:

    I've pm'd you my details.

Really appreciate if you or your friend can do anything.

wow thats expensive, someone contacted me about grazing which was €35 p/w and €50 p/w for a stable at night.....too far away though. I've even tried putting up posters in local shops with no luck..... :(

If anyone is interested, although I understand its a bit out of the way, a friend of mine is doing grass livery for €50 in Kildare this includes use of flood lit arena, gallops, tack room and club room.

    Hi there,

you said that your friend does grazing in Kildare with Arena for 50 Euro. Where in Kildare is it? Cause my friend lived in Newbridge and she is URGENTLY looking for a place for her horse.

    Thanks
