One of Judd Apatow's next movie productions is Pineapple Express, a stoner comedy with Seth Rogen and James Franco out next Summer.

    See the first clip here

Its a full scene, and its amusing without being hilarious... I'll be interested to see a proper trailer to get a sense of the whole movie.

Arrrggghhh.. clip gone! Will try and find it elsewhere.

It's got Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg as writers though - same as 'Superbad' which I didn't enjoy nearly as much as some people did.

Yeah, I'm going against the grain here by saying I prefered Knocked Up to Superbad.

Im surprised this isn't the prevalent opinion. Knocked Up was heartfelt, hilarious and instantly likable. Superbad was funny, but in essence just a slightly above average crude and crass comedy.

Pineapple Express could be interesting. It's a stoner comedy directed by the man who gave us All the Real Girls, which is perhaps as sombre a film as you will ever see. Just to see how he will handle it will be worth the admission price.
