If I wanted to get KWallet to login automatically when I sign in on my KDM account what would be the best way of doing this?

    I use Kubuntu 7.10.

So you just want auto login under KDE?

Launch the KDE Control Center .

Do: System Administration --> Login Manager --> Change to Administrative Mode [or just start the control centre as 'sudo kcontrol' in the first place] --> change to the Convenience tab --> tick 'Enable Auto-Login' and choose your username --> save changes and exit.

Well not quite although that is helpful. I'm looking to login to the KWallet application when I sign in so that my wifi will automatically connect, along with my Skype and Kopete applications.

You have me there. I don't use KWallet -- possibly more insecurely, I'd just let individual apps remember my password and auto-login.
